Dynamo Scripts

The wall auto-dimension script will create dimensions to the interior or exterior extents of your wall:

The grids auto-dimension script will place dimensions to horizontal or vertical grids. Dimensions will always be placed on the top or left side. Grids that are not of equal length will be dimensioned separately.

Sample Dimension Files

The Revit sample file contain 111 dimension samples, each using different options and settings. Copy them directly to your template, or use them as inspiration to master and understand dimensions.

The sample files are available in both Metric + Imperial, in Revit 2021, 2022 and 2023.

I am an Nicolas Catellier, an architect, a BIM Specialist and founder of Revit Pure & BIM Pure. I live in Quebec City, Canada.
